JOAN MILLER

I graduated from TCU with a degree in speech and language therapy. I was a Speech Therapist at public schools in Texas. When I moved to Omaha I worked with many levels of students with learning disabilities. I was a Pre-K teacher for 10 years before joining Simplistic Solutions Academy. I have been a homeschool teacher and I currently teach Science. The best part of teaching Science is whenthe student is asking "why" when an experiment works or why not. It is my hope that each student's curiosity is peaked enough to keep exploring our incredible and amazing world. I also enjoy working with students using the Barton Program for reading. It is such a joy when the student makes progress in their ability to read.
